            Madhav Adkar's arti was an old arti , pioneering portrayal of Baba as Lord Dattatreya . This was including in daily Sagunopasana later by Bhishma . It's potency and effective power was recognized by Baba himself , when he asked Bapugiri in 1902-03 to take the arti with holy ashes . Baba's glory as Satchitananda has been eulogized in this arti . Baba as the external cosmic Guru comes with all his power to save his devotees caught in a plight and rescues them from calamities .  The arti is an exercise of spiritual Sadhana , which can be experienced . The singer dedicates his soul to Baba with CHITTA , mind , ego , intellect all combined . This surrender attracts grace divine . The arti states that Sai Baba is the modern Guru  incarnation in Kali age . This avatar comes down as conditioned Brahma , Lord Datta Guru . It is not necessary to comment on the calamity -averting strength of this arti . Bhishma's poems and Upasani's stanzas in Sanskrit describe Sai as Lord Datta . These are part of daily Sagunopasana at Shirdi and are well known to the devotees of Sai Baba . 



           Prayer , devotion and complete faith in Baba's feet are the paramount viruses in a devotee but if these qualities are not accomplished by overflowing love , then these attributes are of no value . Pray to him;  give all your troubles to him -but at the same time , Love Him .
