For lack of knowledge could not judge the Atma , its stages of development and grace of Guru . This was an example how Baba taught his own man . He asked Shyama to read 'Vishnu sahasranama' because of it potency of mantric value . The great principal Vasudev was behind the Saharsanama(thousand names ) and it would certainly end all his household as well as spiritual deficiency by it own inherent power of bhakti and grace . Here , you may see Baba's mild and graceful manner of talking to a comrade devotee who are attached to his physical person ,and his knowledge was not of higher statute . God gives the fruits according to karma and destiny but saints interface for their intimate devotees and make their suffering mild and tolerable . Baba told Shyama that those devotees who forget themselves in recitation of his name and singing glory of his leelas are carried over the ocean of sansar .
The thousand praises of Lord Vishnu's name in Vishnusahashranaman is the most powerful form of chanting . Whenever we read and chant thousand praises of Lord Vishnu ,the mind automatically contemplates God's attributes . Thereon , the mind reaches its destination and disappears .
